No business relation

My neighbor gave me his old UEI DL250 <broken> and I looked at it for a minute. Pretty much 2 cards, a display and some switches that tested good. I gave up and fired UEI an email. The deal is $25 and shipping, I got a new one. (says it is rebuilt). Since the cards were bad the display scratched and the case broken I can't imagine what they saved.
I assume most name brand guys do this but I was impressed.

Pretty cool meter too. Clamp with all the regular multimeter scales and a capacitor check scale.

There are still some great companies out there. I have had great experiences with several, including Boston Acoustics and Surefire. Also, a relative has a Dodge truck with a Cummins engine which developed a stuck open injector at 102,000 miles, destroying the engine. Cummins gave him a new engine.
