Anyone know where I can get a 3 phase surge suppressor for a 400-amp service?

Thanks,
Dave

The company I work for usually uses the GE Tranquell series. They are pricey though. They start with a 9L10 suffix if I remember correctly.

Leviton makes a complete line. They also have a CD that you can get from their suppliers. It shows all the equipment they make and it has a class on harmonics, surge suppression and a bunch of other stuff on it. I got it free by bugging the supply house who called the local area rep.

I use these guys...

They specialize in surge suppressors and its mostly what they do. Their prices are great. Much cheaper then the Eaton surge suppressors I used to use.

Tiger, near you on the north side of Chicago is S and C Electric, which manufactures all sorts of neat stuff for supplimenting the service. I highly reccomend their web site. These folks were into "power conditionong" and "harmonics" long before such things were even accepted as existing (and what debates there were then!). www.sandc.com
