We are currently bidding a job with a 2000A/480v MCC. We are getting quotes from SqD, A-B, and Furnas, but I'm a little gunshy of using the Furnas equipment. I don't have much experience with Furnas MCC's.

I have worked with A-B and SqD. We have been installing SqD exclusively for the past 5 years or so.

I would like to hear opinions and experiences from those who have installed Furnas or work with it on a regular basis.

Thanks in advance.

The company I work for has been using Furnas and now Seimans MCC's for over 10 years and I have not seen any major problems with them. Now the newer stuff with the Seimans MCP's may be a different story. I have had some trouble with them in pump panels
