The owner of a track home wants to hire us to do structured cabling throughout his house. The thing is....the house is being built right now. I dont believe the owner has talked to the GC about this. I am not really sure where to start...

Has anyone been in this situation? Any problems with the GC, since the owner will be hiring us? Any thoughts?

thanks
mike

My experience with tract builders is that they won't let you do anything in the house until after closing. I would make sure you have permission from the GC, and not just the future owners word that it's OK. If they say OK, then I'd do if I knew I would get paid in full the same day we roughed it in.
