It's Veteran's Day!

Just wanted to say Thank You to all who have ever served!

Just curious how many of you guys used to serve our country? Maybe you still do.

Thanks! USMC, 1967 to 1971. Once a Marine always a Marine, some of us are just not on active duty any more.

Thanks guys. I am taking the day off.

Without munitions, the Air Force would be just another unscheduled airline. [Linked Image]

There's nothing I can say but...

Thanks.

(Civilian, no military experience except for reinacting... but great respect for all vets...)

Hear hear! Never been anything but a civilian myself, but to all vets let me say that there are some of us younger generation (I'm 36) who appreciate the sacrifices made by those to defend our freedoms.

At least in the U.S. veterans seem to receive a certain amount of respect: discounts, VA mortgages etc. Here we have a dwindling number of elderly WWII veterans (or the widows of veterans of WWII and later conflicts) who are getting no help from the govt. whatsoever.
