I have to supply a pole barn/garage.
It is the 3rd building under same owner.
2nd building, water supply/garage, has a 100amp underground to it, I will not be using that power for 3rd building.
Need to get power to 3rd building, but underground is out of the question.
So, I must go overhead from main building/service, with a mast, to 2nd building with a mast and panel/disconnect,through the 2nd building trusses/attic to the other end of 2nd building and mast to go to 3rd building,I do not need a mast there cause I will have the heigth,18'.
Can I use a 3 wire system and ground rods, or I need a 4 wire system with ground rods? Voltage is 208.
I know grounding for other buildings has changed, but I am getting older now and I am not buying anymore damn code books, the last one I have is 2002, and I also know that I cannot bond the neutral if I need to use the 4 wire system.

If you are on the 2008 code you need a 4 wire feeder.
