well, here we are guys, sunday evening and its my turn in the scheme of things, to go in 4 hours early and fire up the factory for 3rd shift production that begins at 11:00 p.m... [Linked Image]. gonna be a long night, since i dont get off till 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, and i dont know what to expect as far as how things were shut off for the weekend. alarms here, alarms there....everywhere alarms, alarms! lol.. wish i could put everything on a remote control, like my t.v., and just do it from home. I had startup this week too. The pipfitter had everything going by the time I got there. Easy double-time.

Maybe next time I'll show up a half an hour late!

Dana, next weekend is mine. Go in at 8P.M. get off at 7:30 A.M., really bites. Good to see some more maint guys here, the other guys sometimes gang up on us maint types [Linked Image] Wait a minute, double time :confused ! I work a 11 1/2 hr day for 8 hrs straight time and the rest is only time&a half.

I used to do start-up for a plant that has $20,000CDN/minute downtime. Talk about pressure to get it fixed fast!
