Friend of mine forwarded this to me.

Whether or not you believe our president is doing the right thing, the people who are willing to stand in your place deserve a "thank you"

*Subject:* Thank You

5.7 million people have shown their appreciation. The
U.S.A. has approximately 280 million people.

Dear All,
Please visit the Department of Defense web page below and sign in thanking
the men and women of the U.S. military services for defending our freedom.
The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of
National Military Appreciation Month. So far, there are about 5.7
million names.
The entire exercise takes 10 seconds ... literally.

That was mighty nice of you to post that link.
10-15 seconds from my time is miniscule to what the guys and gals are doing, and will be doing.

In light of the President's speech last night, I thought I would bring this back to the front. It's a way to say thanks to all those who stand in the gap.

I have three nephews in the military.

As Politics is rarely a good Topic even amongst the best of Friends, I think we should close this. I think We all wish for the best possible outcome and a safe home to all our Troops.
