Is cotta wall the same as cinder block?

Terra Cotta is a red clay based material and I have seen block walls made of it. Generally cinder block, now just concrete, is the standard blocks you see the most. Hope this helps.

Over here, terracotta is most often found for floor tiles or roofing tiles.
