Just as my 2 cents. Even if the job is ugly, does it meet the code? If Yes, then the AHJ must pass the job. A piece of UF attached to a guy wire will meet the code. Is it pretty? Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The AHJ should pass the job because it meets the NEC.
