I have been wiring my dishwasher circuts in the sink base cabnit where the diposal plugs in at. I use a 2pole breaker on that plug. I did this as a disconnet for service would be close. Also it is easy for the plummer to plug in. I was wrote a violation that i could not do this under 400.8 (3) that the cord had to be in same void. Any thoughts?

400.8 Doesn’t say anything about running the cord through cabinets. Ask the inspector to read 422.16(B)(2)(4)
