I know we all do different things, but I'm curious.
What do you keep in the truck besides tools?
(Devoid the old lunch bags and soda bottles)

Usuallly keep old work boxes, 4x4 boxes, 12'2/G and the usual assortment of wire nuts, screws and bolts. Also a pair of bib overalls (to keep from ripping pants up in attics and to keep pants clean) and an old jacket. Also have a drool cup on the dash (tobacco chewer).

The trucks I've had I always tried to keep a little bit of everything. various fittings up to 2" for flex rigid and emt. A "Baskin Robbins" assortment of breakers and fuses. Bushings, lugs, split bolts, tape, 3M mastic pads, "boy butter" pipe, paint, caution tape, electricians hand book, NEC, wire, sta-con terminals, wirenuts, screw kits, length of chain, assorted bell boxes and covers, numerous devices and a lot of other stuff I don't remember until I need it. And I don't even do much service work! Sounds like a bunch of crap but it all fits neatly if you organize it right and has had me come out like a hero more than once! [Linked Image]

I have a little bit of everything including plaster and a vacuum. It seems that even with all the stuff in there every once in a while you can come up short on something [Linked Image] I have no drool cup, no empty coffee cups, and no other assorted garbage. Im not really into the "boy butter" seen but I don't discriminate against that kind of lifstyle. [Linked Image] I keep the neatest and cleanest (inside and out) truck I have ever worked from and one of the neatest at the supply house. Some guys ask if I actually do any work. It just makes the day much less stressful to be able to get in and get what you need without having to dig around. It also leaves a lasting impression on the customers, some of which are snooty multi million dollar home owners.

Thanks, electure.

I thought about that, but it was stated as "boy butter pipe"
