I don't have a new code book handy. Can anyone tell me what this exception says? Does it say that mobile homes etc. now have to have protection of cables by steel plates etc. The 99 code did not require it.. Thanks for your response.... Steve

Steve, there is no exception #3 to 300.4(D) in the 02 code book.

This exception was removed, so to answer your question, it is required now.
