Where can I get me a job like that, so I can call everyone "Dude"?
I wonder what his electrical background is?

Guess what, a toaster has a 3 prong outlet now guys
ever been "zotted" ? haha And theres no fire hazard to having a 3prong outlet installed that is not grounded.. Dude!
he called the grounded conductor a neutral.. jeez, lol
put a label on the outlet that says "don't be fooled, this is not a grounded outlet!"
okay skip?
BX shielding cannot be considered a ground, really? "They really frown on that"

This just proves you really don't need to know what your talking about as long as you sound like you know. By the way when did "Zotted" make it to a dictionary

And did you notice the "stalling and stumbling" when anyone asked him a real question?

To use a 5-15 recept. with the appropraite "ungrounded outlet" sticker, doesn't the NEC require that receptacle to be GFI protected? Never heard him mention that. What about getting shocked when he opened up the 5 wire-nutted neutrals? He doesn't seem to grasp the idea that he opened the circuit and inserted himself in series with the load. Ditto his "explanation" about why a receptacle ground shouldn't just be jumpered to the white wire: Something about AC energizing the white wire 60 times a second????!! Seems to me that that last caller left every bit as confused (if not more so) than when he started. He certainly didn't sound like someone who'd just had a 20-year-old question solved.

Ah, wait a minute..... The real reason for not being able to jumper the ground screw on the receptacle is that those electrons flowing during a ground-fault will only flow through a bare or green wire. If you try to make them return through a white wire, they'll refuse to go!
