Anybody out know of a company or contact for used Greenlee combination one-shot benders? Our company currently has 4 and there startin to show they're age, with the frames startin to tweek and the pins and shoes not mating up very well. These are the "triangle" shaped floor mounted models that can handle all types and sizes up to 5" and use porta-pumps. I'm lookin to find some decent used ones to canabalize, or complete units if they are in good shape. The guys are startin to complain, and the bean counters put the Kibash on new ones, when the saw he prices these days. Any ideas?
Cheers

Fire the bean counter and the $40K annually you save can buy several benders...

If his only job is to make you do yours without tools, then his job needs to be eliminated...

Just MHO....

(Sorry, I just don't want to put up with people trying to justify their positions by making it harder on the ones who do the productive work...)

Noshorts:
I just priced the BW15 by Greenlee, $1800.00,FOB, it comes with two shoes all the way up to 2" HW. I thought that was a bit over the line, and would have trouble justifying the cost.
But I agree wiht sparky get rid of the bean counters, a tool that has turned to garbage is more of a detriment than a savings, and if a worker gets hurt because of a defective tool, the 1800 is cheap insurance.
