I'm pretty sure that using SJ cable above a drop ceiling is not legal. Where can I find that in the code? TIA.

Depends.

Is the area a plenum?

I just found out that above one of the drop ceilings in question, is in fact a plenum.

So, does that add more restrictions?

Is there a comperable restriction for flexible hoses for compressed air?

Thanks,

Larry
