Has anyone here had past experience with those starved electrolyte automobile batteries commonly made by "Optima" and "Odyssey"?

Was just wondering as I would like to purchase one but was told the "Odyssey" was far superior to the "Optima", and was wondering if any other members here have used one, and what they thouhght of the brand they purchased.

Thx

I have two optima batteries. one in my jeep, I have off road lights and a big winch i use all the time. and the other one on a old truck that sits for a month at a time and still starts great. I bought bolth off them over five years ago. they have not shown a sign of weakness yet.also the one in my jeep has been run dead numerous times beacuse I left my electric cooling fans on.
