I had a phone call this afternoon (and a Sunday here to boot) from a salesman that claimed to be from one of my seldom used suppliers suggesting that GE would no longer support sales of their replacement breakers that were older than 15 years starting November 1, 2006. I don't know this particular salesman but he seemed to be very knowlegeable about the other supplier I use sometimes.

Has anyone else heard this nasty rumour or am I getting some kind of stupid setup pitch for some other manufacurers stuff?

Maybe some confusion due to the fact that GE Supply was purchased by REXEL, a French electronics company, about 3 weeks ago?
