Today is 6-6-6; this has been referred to as the 'number of the beast.'

Did you call your favourite AHJ, and let him know you were thinking of him?

Todays date is 6/6/2006. It is the anniversary of D-Day. A day that started freedom from a very bad beast. I thank all the men & women who sacrificed to stop the beast.

I am sure that many involved with D-Day felt that they were facing an insurmountable beast. Thankfully they overcame the odds to preserve out freedoms.

Thanks to all the vets.

I'll 'third' that. I could careless about the date being 6/6/06 (no offense Reno). To me, June 6th is always about remembering the 4,000 men who gave their lives that day to preserve freedom abroad, and the countless others who risked their lives in World War II.

Speaking of AHJ's... mine was good to me today and passed the big job I've been working on for the past couple of months - a 3 million dollar home in New Jersey.

I used to race motocross with three 6's on the bike, never had any trouble. [Linked Image] (Bikes have a front and two side number plates for those who are wondering.) Now the overall immature behavour of the bike itself was another issue, though. [Linked Image]

(I had finished sixth overall out of forty riders in the +25 Beginner class the previous year.)

I do know a few other "sixers" who would put a fourth six under the rear fender to "break the curse."

I too would rather think of this day in Honor of those who sacrificed all on D-Day. Big salute to them!!

edited for spelling
