The only problem with the original installation is that it is from the 50's and in 1999 the units were converted to condo's. The units only have 40amp feeds and the individual unit owners (consumers) are adding all the whistle and bells available today sucu as central air, modern kitchens you name it. I'll try to post a picture later this week.

Can you put the new service on the outside?

To swap out while keeping the same location and power on at days end would be difficult.
