hey guys this is problably an easy one , but i need to know if its safe. Condo with second floor and im installing some 4 in recess halo lites but i only have 7.5 clearance. Halos have maximum depth of 5.5 in.. That only gives me 2 in. to roof. Do you think this is safe ? Are ic rated lites okay?

Since you are a starter electrician, I suggest you ask your journeyman or master electrician. Your search for information is warranted as improper electrical installations can be deadly.
