wa2ise, I am now just learning about peak voltage in school. I'm sure what you just explained will make a whole lot more sense a few weeks from now. I sincerely appreciate the help in understanding this better.

" Mechanic? NM in a commercial place? Why not call an electrician?

Copiers tend to use a fair amount of power. Even if this one doesn't, the next one will. So I'd run one circuit for it alone.

The three PC's can share the same, second circuit."

In some places (NJ being one) mechanic is another name for Jman.

A few other places too... Really depends on who you're talking to...

On topic, my computer and periphirals pull about 7 amps. If you are talking about an office data entry situaltion with women with cold feet, add enough for a space heater at each desk... [Linked Image] I generaly stick to 2 desks per circuit, with more available to swap loads around if need be. As for harmonics, I would not be worried about the circuit, but the system as a whole. Hundreds or thousands of computers on the same feeder or transformer.
