Any one have any experience installing natural gas GenSets in NYC.

Particularly looking for any experience with rooftop applications and the need for natural gas booster pumps.

I hear they are needed %50 of the time for NYC rooftop sites. When and how is it determined that a booster pump is needed?

Any help or insight would be great

Determine the pressure and flow required by the generator manufacturer. Then find out the availability of natural gas on the site. Then calculate to determine if there will be enough once you rise the height need to get to the roof.
