Remember the picture of the floating (Joy?) soap bottle with the receptacle in it. Anybody have the location of this pic? I know it's in the archives here someplace.

That picture belongs to Joe Tedesco.
The bottle was used to plug in a TV set that was in an innertube, which was in a swimming pool.
The Darwin candidates would float around in the pool in their innertubes, and watch the floating TV.

That photo was definitely a "Hall of Famer" if ever there was one. BTW, was that the same location with the light rope around the inside wall of the above-ground pool? Or maybe they're just kin...and both sterile I hope. Andy

I always assumed it was a joke. That thing would be boiling in pool water. It might even operate the O/C device

What about a 230 volt hair dryer locate permanently in a dresser drawer?
I found one in London recently!
