What is your preferred way of hanging 1/2" emt? I have an area above a ceiling (wooden trusses with drywall ceiling) in a mfg. plant where I need to run quite a bit of 1/2" emt. It is a bear of a place to work in and I am looking for an approved way of fastening the emt without spending a lot of time and effort. Is there some kind of hanger available that can I can fasten into place and then come along and just snap the emt into it? without having to put a bolt thru? My local supplier is not aware of such an item. I know I've seen something like it in an old installation several years ago. Perhaps my best bet would be to simply use regular 1/2" conduit straps.

Electure, Do these have a latch to close or you just push the conduit in and that's it? I've used the first type on that page but not this one. Bill [This message has been edited by Bill Addiss (edited 12-02-2001).]

You just snap the pipe in and it holds it.
