Anyone using UD aluminum for service laterals in lieu of copper due to costs?

I don't use it, but I do have an underground AL service to replace with copper today due to the conductors turning to powder.

URD is used alot around here, including feeders to outbuildings. In pipe sometimes, sometimes not.(other than where it exits the earth)

Around here all I see is URD run for service laterals, if installed properly it is a good system.
