Our regiment colors are blue with red trim. Musicians wore the opposite color scheme so the commander could more readily spot them. The musicians (fifes and drums) were the "walkie talkies" that sounded orders to the men.
(Plus we, the musicians, have been known to march with the 4th
Royal Artillery on occasion.)
The uniforms are mostly second-hand from the
3rd Army Infantry Old Guard .
