I know the DAS met last week in San Diego and wanted to see if anyone heard whether they were extending the certification deadline. I called their office this morning but just got a general message.

Last I heard was that there is a 1/1/06 final deadline that will not be extended (again). But who knows, this is a new week.

No extension this time. I believe they have another meeting this year.
I'm on the edge of my seat.

If the DAS follows previous form, they won't release that information until a couple of months before the deadline.

There's a provision in the law itself that gives them up to 2 yrs that the deadline can be extended.
That would be 1-1-07.
They've already used up a year.
