OK I'm back at trying to get my Quick Books straightened out. If I find the original Quick books disk, and reinstall it, will I have to re enter all of my information on it, since it looks like all of my back up disk have been damaged also [Linked Image] I'm afraid of what you're going to tell me...Thanks Steve

Great News for me.. I was messing with my Quick books again this morning and thought I would open the "sample file" that came with my Quick Books. I tried to add figures in the ficticios accounts they have and it worked alright. Then I went back to my original account and tried it again, and wow [Linked Image] it was working there too [Linked Image] The Good Lord was good to me. I hated the thought of having to copy everything again to another program. I think there is a great lesson to be learned here. When everything seems lost, there's still hope... Never give up... By the way, I have 4 copies I have saved it to [Linked Image] Steve

I'm a little late as you fixed it already, but apparently the error was caused by a 'damaged transaction record' http://www.quickbooks.com/support/faqs/qbw2003/83709.html
