Is there such thing?? I heard a rumor that the Michigan Electrical Code is no longer. Michigan is now only using the NEC. I can not find anything on this to prove the rumor true or false. Can you help? I need to help my Electrical Engineers.
Thank you for your time and advice.

According to my source, Michigan uses the NEC with possible amendments.

Try this site for a state by state breakedown of licensing & code requirements. http://www.neca-neis.org/catalog/

Scroll down to "State Electrical Regulations" comes as a free PDF download.

Michigan currently uses the 1999 National Electrical code with amendments for all buildings but those covered under the Michigan (2000 international ) residential code.

One and two family dwellings are wired using the electrical provisions from the residential code.

I used to live in Mich 20 years ago and don't remember anything other than the NEC.
