A customer wants me to install a transfer switch for his residence that has a 3 phase service, delta feed with one phase center tapped and grounded(high leg 218volts).He purchased a 15KW single phase generator. Most of the house load is on phase AtoC with a small load on the Hi leg phase. My plan was to use a 3 phase tranny and service the main load with the single phase(60amp)240V gen.The small Hi leg load will not be powered off the gen. With proper load management he should be able to run his A/C,lights,refrig,micro,etc.
How much is a 3 phase transfer switch with a 200amp rating?Any other comments are welcome.
One other issue, why doesn't the manufacturer of the generator supply the very hard to find NEMA 14-60R male plug?I have called every electrical parts house in Orlando.

That doesn't sound right. Wouldn't it put the loads on the high leg in series across the 240v generator?

twh good point
I am sorry I forgot to mention that there is only one three phase load and that is a water pump that pulls water from the lake for irrigation only.It has a dedicated 3 pole 30 amp disconnect that would have to be opened when operating the system from the generator.

Chris, I talked with my company buyer today. He called a few supply houses up here in New England. The 14-60P is a factory item. No one stocks it up here either.
