Is it okay to power a 32 watt compact fluorescent lamp(s) with a 26 watt ballast?
Will it reduce the life of the lamp?
I can't find an ADVANCE brand ballast in the GRAINGER catalog rated for 32 watts. 26 and 42 watts are the closet ballast rating.

Advance makes compact fluorescent ballasts that will do 26,32,& 42 watt lamps all in one ballast. They are multi voltage 120/277.

I can't seem to find it online. Do you have a catalog number?

Frank, go to www.advancetranformer.com/literature you can download their catalog. Look at the smartmate section of the catalog. It depends on number of lamps and where pin socket leads enter ballast.
