Now that summer weather is here, being from Toronto i have heard all winter from you down south how we do adapt to the cold,i now throw it back. How can you possibly work in
the heat, especially roof tops.Do you ever get used to it and what hours would you work to accomodate this?

Lots & lots of water! [Linked Image] Rooftops dont bother me near as much as attics in blazing weather! If I have a job which requires any lengthy amount of attic work & the attic is well into the triple digits, I'll schedule the work for early the next morning & hopefully be out of there before it hits the same temperatures again... One time when i was fixing about 190,000 open splices a handyman left in an attic, I pulled an A/C duct loose while I was working. At least made it bearable [Linked Image]

It's a lot easier pulling 500MCM and making connections in the summer then the winter when it's freezing out. Yeah ... drink lots of water.

Well, it crept up to nearly 77 degrees here a couple of days ago, but I don't think you guys down South would even think about calling that hot! [Linked Image]

Still makes attic work too hot for me though!
