I've gotten EC&M for 10 years or so, and also Electrical Contractor. Basically because they're free. But aside from that, they are very informative. Usually you can find something interesting in every issue. You're bound to learn something!

MIke Holt has a good list of electrical magazines: http://www.mikeholt.com/links.php?id=linksmagazines
A lot of the sites have articles from the print mags to read, check it out.

If anyone gets involved with factory automation or process control, a couple good magazines to read are IAN (Instrumentation and Automation News) and SENSORS. Also recommended are more general ME and EE publications like Machine Design, Electronic Design, and EDN.

Thanks, Kevin

I love EC magazine.

First thing that I do is turn to the "Ideas That Work" page.

Anyone else?

I was just thinking that Ideas that work would be a nice forum for this site...

I enjoy EC&M, EC IAEI and NEC Digest.
The only problem I have with the NFPA membership is all the junk mail I get every month trying to selll me the same codes I already have. Oh well more barbeque fire starter material. [Linked Image]
Also like Mike Holts news letters
