Check out CFR (code of Federal Regulations) 40 273.5, it regulates lamps as Universal Waste. Don't trash them, you'll be putting a potential liability on your customer.

Where are the recycle centers for NY and NJ area. We have no intrest in getting involved with haz waste. What are all the small service companies going to do with the lamps they replace.

I'd do it if I knew where to bring them...I don't generate too much tho'..maybe 20 bulbs/mo...LK,I'm a Jersey boy too!!

If anyone needs a place to take lamps or needs them picked up, e-mail me. We primarily service Texas and the surrounding states, but we have some nationwide contacts also.
