Yes they can be different but all the ones I go use the same basic code

[quo te]put the stuff you want to quote in between the quote codes[/quo te]

So you could see the quote codes I left a space between "o & t" when you do it do not leave the space and it will come out like this

We used to have that feature on but it got too confusing because people would quote 10 paragraphs of stuff including pictures just to add two words. It was confusing and made pages load real slow when they did it with pictures.
