I'm sure that any EC on this board has had to deal with similar people. This happened at a very large resort in Phoenix. There was a mock-up for guest rooms and the wife of the developer had her nose into everything. The recessed fixtures at the entry area (3) were installed for review. She didn’t like them. Next week a new set of fixtures. Same result. Another week, different fixtures, same result. Pictures were going to be taken for their brochure so I had the original fixtures put up just to cover the holes as that’s all I had. The fixs were not connected. She came in with the photogs and said “Now that’s the fixture I want for the rooms”. This gal also selected home rated carpet for the public areas and it was shot in less than 6 months. Hired a chef that didn’t know what he was doing and had the kitchen constructed in reverse. New chef had it ripped out and done properly. There are many more stories. BTW, there is a restaurant in the resort with her name.

Hmm. She sounds like a real gem.

I get all kinds of advice and instructions all day long. I have selective hearing, though, so it doens't bother me too much.
