Has anyone tried our Spec Search?
The whole premise here is that it would be much more convenient to have specifications for all building materials stored in one searchable location rather than having to go to every different manufacturer to find them. Similar products can also be compared side by side.
There's somewhere around 30,000 different building product specifications in there now and they are trying to get more Electrical specs in there too. If you search for something and cannot find it you should let them know and they will try to get it included. If you think it is a good idea you should try it and make suggestions for more things to include. Perhaps over time we could end up with a one-stop source for all our specifications, but the manufacturers have to know that there is an interest in this somewhere.
