Thanks for the info, yet I'm running a three wire to the a box (not fixture). I was just wondering?! We phased-out the white wire with black tape (Code required), then connected that phased wire to the switch leg. Which in return sends power to the mid box [where you will have your 4-way{two 3 wires}], and your end box, which will be you dead in 3-way. There We will phase out the white, and make it up as a 3-way. Thanks people. Hey you guys are smart with the code, so I will keep consulting. I'm in Washington State.
