Hi folks. Do any of you know if I can pull out the guts from a cutler hammer 20-20 circuit panel and substitute in a 20-30 cutler hammer guts. This panel is fed from a 100 amp 2 pole main and has #2 cu for a feeder. I need to add a few circuits , but I don't want to cut open and pull the whole box out if I don't have to. I'm wondering if the buss has the same physical dimensions for the 20-30 as the 20-20 does. If you know or have tried this please reply. thank you.

I hardly doubt you will be able to do this. Call the manufacturer with the model number of the enclosure, and ask them. I think you are going to go the 'hard' route for this job.

When I need more circuits, I just add a sub panel.
Put a 2pole breaker in the existing panel to 'feed' another panel.
