is a RCR50SEA. hard to find and i can never remember who they are made by. i've checked regents and universal, among others.
they work fine from the outside of enclosures or from the inside of flush mounted ones.
i'd like to find their website and place an order because our local suppliers arent able or willing to keep them on hand.

Why do they look so chintzy? I'm not disputing the quality....just that I guess looks can be deceiving, especially to someone so used to seeing metal clamps and armored cable. I've always regarded tool-less implements with suspicion but I may be wrong about this. The plastic sure seems to prevent the NM jacket from getting abraded on sharp edges.

SvenNYC:
Speaking of chintzy, the newer color-coded ROMEX sheathing still seems to be more fragile than the older sheathing. The cables seem less bulky, but there's something different about the material that is now used. The metal connectors will crimp right into the conductors if one is not careful!

i am leary of new fittings too and then i try em, and whatdya know they work great. they are made of one piece of pvc type plastic, no screwdriver needed, and are much faster and easier to use also. i gave up on metal romex connectors long ago.

All of the above are great. They are not "chintzy" at all. As for the romex jacket, it seems to vary by manufacturer.

Used these connectors for years. They work well for resi applications. Other companies make the same type of product. Ask your supplier.
