Here is a report about the hazards of do it your self wiring that appeared on the local news. It's about time something was said to the general public about this problem. There is a link to play the video in windows media on the right side of the page. http://www.whdh.com/features/articles/specialreport/A292/

I like the T or F quiz in the video Scott

I have considered the issue for some time, and am considering the opportunity (should it arise here in Vermont) to pose OC's as a much simpler and possibly all encompasing fix.

This would, initself curtail much grief, and remove the trades from the 'licensed'/'qualified' debate....

Scott:
Thank you for sharing this excellent news story. I wish it would be broadcast nation-wide. It has some very important messages.

Occupancy Permits

you may, if you wish, raise the kiddies here in an unfinished (well... let's call a spade a spade) Hazard.

The trades here have many stories, as do i on this issue.

While there appears to be property damage due to unlicensed wiring, there appear to be no deaths for the 2 years listed.

Taking baths/showers is more dangerous in that state. [Linked Image]
