I had hired a helper years ago who had told me up front that he had stopped drinking and all the crazy partying. He said he wanted to just work hard and learn the trade. I respected his honesty and hired him. He worked for me for about 2 years. I don't remember him ever taking off, and was allways on time. I guess I lucked out, with a honest helper.
