I have installed 2 of them (240v) for the BNSF railroad. They are used alot on boats. That's how we found out about them.

I'm the guy who wrote the Incinolet story linked to in the first post on this topic.

The Incinolet works pretty well, although it does produce an interesting odor when it is making ash. I swear it smells very similar to the odor from cooking french fries in a deep fat fryer. Not exactly, but close enough to spoil your next trip to MackieD's or the BK Lounge.

We're planning to replace it in the next year or so, assuming we can put in a proper well and septic tank. Due to a few geological quirks on our property and some county restrictions on siting wells and septic systems, though, it may not be possible.

Unfortunately, the Incinolet uses almost as much energy as an electrocutioner's chair (okay, I'm making that up). But, if you can't put in a septic system and you don't want the even riper smell of a composting toilet, it's not a bad option.

I knew this day would come. All electrical questions have been asked and answered and this is what's left. [Linked Image]

I love your sense of humor! Stick around and add some life to this place......electrical knowledge not required.

Cinergy, when it was still PSI, installed a few of these in their substations.

Imagine the carnage and suffering that could finally be spared if all electric toilets were required to be fed with AFCI circuits!

You'd want to keep your foot away from that lever, until you're done!. [Linked Image] [Linked Image]

That might really raise heck with the 2-hour "cycle time."

Maybe that's what the rumored MegaTurbo Ultra Attachemnt is for?
