I know everyone gets tired of smoke alarm questions. However, I'm pricing a summer camp dorm, there will be 20 rooms/sleeping quarters. Should I put smokes in each room? As usual with me, no building codes,no permits,no inspections. Would you consider this the same as a motel? Any help would be great. Russell

Personally I would include the smokes in every sleeping room, hallways, and floor elevation changes.
Perhaps you can make that a seperate line item on your bid and give the owner the choice AND responsibility.
