I've been in this trade 20+ years , and came across my first alu. sw box. It was the cut corner style for RX.,and light like a feather. Just wondering if some of you veteran electricians could know the possible years these where made? 60's maybe like Alu. RX ? Thanks.

Shoot first, apologize later.....maybe

208,
I have one in a junk box somewhere. I would say it's from the 60's and I can't remember where I got it but it's used so must have been removed from an installation.

I've never seen an aluminum switch box, unless it was for some kind of special equipment...S
