I'm not really familiar with the older style panels. I was ask to hook-up a newer style panel, so they can get rid of there old fuse panel. They have a small meter outside there home. Where should I start?

Hello & welcome to ECN:
Based on the question you posted, I would strongly suggest you locate an experienced, qualified electrical contractor, licensed in your area.

Luminate, just for my own research and curiosity, could you post some of your background? You know, years as a sparky, preference of type of projects (i.e. resi, comm, indust), region where you work, that sort of stuff.
I'm always curious about what other electricians do in their region of the country/world.

Dallas

Ooops, I just looked at your profile and it said Seattle for your region. My fault.
