Bill,
We all have a little area in our Profiles,
that says ICQ number.
What does this number mean?.
Should I have one?.

Its another form of instant messaging. Go to www.icq.com for more information and to sign up if interested.

Does anyone here use ICQ?
I use Yahoo Messenger every day, I can "talk" to family and friends from everywhere.
And boy does it save on long distance phone charges.
It is a great tool, and so is the webcam option. I can talk and they can see me !!!

Tiffany,
How is ICQ used?,
I'd never heard of it, until I changed my Profile, the other day, and to tell you the truth, I'm still none the wiser. [Linked Image]

It is an instant message program, basically just "add" the person's ICQ number to your list, and then send them a message pretty much. Though I find Yahoo Messenger user friendly, I haven't really sat and puttered with ICQ..... it crashed the old computer alot, so it was uninstalled on that one. Just recently installed it on this one. So it has been a couple years since I "chatted" with anyone through ICQ.
