In "Kitchen Dollars" that does not seem so expensive. People just suspend reality when they build kitchens and bathrooms.

Do simple dollar comparisons tell the truth when one product is clearly more appropriate than another? I mean - would you forgo your Redwing work boots, just because Wal-Mart sneakers have a lower price?

Just like Redwing is not the only maker of quality footwear, I suspect there are other providers of angled power strips. I've also seen pictures of 'ordinary' plugmold mounted on an angled piece of wood, creating the same effect.

Couldn't you get the exact same effect by mounting regular plugmold on an angled strip of wood?

It would not look as nice, I imagine. My regular plug mold tucked up in the recess under the cabinet skirt works pretty well but you are laying your head on the counter to plug things in. Fortunately the stuff that plugs in there stays plugged in.
