Non code question. Older TEEL/OA Smith/Dayton motor on water pump. AO Smith PN (maybe in complete) c48h2ec1. Label is faded. Connection diagram gone. Inside motor, there's 4 terminals. L1, L2, A, B. L1 and L2 is a no brainer however there's a jumper from within motor that goes to terminal "A". It appears to go to thermal overload. Not certain. Motor was wired for 120. Being wired for 240. Million dollar question: what do I do with the wire from A? Only one chance to keep the smoke from inside of motor from getting out....
